Meridian Salmon featured Label Rouge fillets and portions in Brussels
Meridian Salmon, one of Scotland’s largest salmon farmers, featured Label Rouge fillets and portions at the world’s major seafood show in Brussels, 3–5 May 2011. Meridian Salmon Group’s processing facility, Marine Products, gained Label Rouge certification earlier this year, adding to the Label Rouge certification of Meridian Salmon farming operations. The combination makes Meridian Salmon the only company in Scotland that has been granted this extent of Label Rouge accreditation.
Label Rouge is a French food quality certification scheme that sets strict criteria for production and processing. The label attracts attention from discerning buyers including top chefs who are pleased to present Label Rouge products in their restaurants.
