European Seafood Exposition 2011 marks a first for Meridian Salmon

Meridian Salmon Group was present for the first time at the 2011 European Seafood Exposition (ESE) where it joined parent company Morpol at the world’s largest seafood fair. Morpol is the world leading salmon smoker and this year’s Brussels show was the first year for Morpol after being listed at the Oslo stock exchange. The stand was appropriately prominent and stylish with a display of superb smoked and marinated fish products from Morpol. The stand also featured Meridian Salmon Label Rouge salmon fillets and portions alongside winning products from sister company Laschinger, recently named Brand of the Year in Germany in the category “Fish smoked and marinated”.

The European Seafood Exposition in Brussels is the world’s largest seafood fair with over 1,600 exhibitors. In 2010 the show attracted over 24,000 visitors from 140 countries.
